Fender 50th Anniversary Jaguar – 2012 – Candy Apple Red – Lucky #7

2012 50th Anniversary Jaguar in Candy Apple Red nitro lacquer with a rosewood bound, block inlayed 21 fret vintage style neck. Screaming special wind Anniversary pickups come stock from the factory, the bridge was swapped for a Mustang barrel style saddled one in the correct 9.5″ radius. This one comes in original hardcase with tags, tools, tremolo arm, straplock parts, original bridge and cover from the Fender factory in Corona, California. Weighs 8lb 12oz, setup on 10s. Pro setup by the guys at Eric’s Guitars in Van Nuys, CA, still has the American flag on the 3-ply mint pickguard. The earlier instruments in each color were numbered, this one is a nice low Lucky #7 – marked at the factory by the luthiers who made them.

Condition

The guitar is in very good, mostly stock condition and is mechanically excellent. Modified with a Mustang style bridge and straplocks. The nitro on the body shows signs of wear, shows missing flakes of the red overcoat on the sides and lower bout, one or two chips on the back as well as swirls, hazing, scratches and impressions. The full spectrum of aging nitro sins – looks great, feels excellent. The first few of every color were hand-numbered, this one is lucky number 7. Frets just leveled, crowned and polished by the pros at Eric’s Guitar Shop in Van Nuys, CA.
