Fender Early 50’s Anniversary Stratocaster – 2024 – MJT Faded Coral Pink Relic

The star of this show is the lacquer nitro maple neck from a 2024 Fender USA 1954 Anniversary Stratocaster with a 7.25″ radius, a C shape profile, and 21 frets, with a maple fretboard and all vintage appointments including Telecaster style string-tree added to a relic MJT Stratocaster faded Coral Pink body with an aged Fender 11-hole 3-ply W/B/W pickguard and a set of vintage 1984 Fender Japan single coil pickups in a SSS configuration with all wiring upgraded to vintage cloth type with Orange Drop capacitor and a 5-way switch. All the hardware is now vintage from the donor ST-57 made in Fujijen. Comes in an older early 1990s AVRI style case, looking good in there, with a vintage style bridge cover, tremolo arm and keys setup on 10s. Weighs 7lbs and 10oz.

Condition

Obvious wear, finish damage, checking, lacquer sink etc on the body. A few dings on the neck, very light fret wear, but I’d play this for years before it was time for its first crown, level and polish. Finish lightly sanded off the back of the neck, lacquer missing from the fretboard edges on the bass side, and to a lesser extent on the treble. See the pictures, ask for more. Pickups read 5.2k-2.5k-5.2k-3.5k-6.5k, making for a punchy, versatile instrument.
