Fender Vintage Mustang USA/MIJ Hybrid – 1975 – Daphne Blue

This heavily patinated 1975 original Fender Mustang neck is paired with an early 2000s Fender Japan Mustang body in glorious Daphne Blue. The neck pickup is a vintage wind single with a Curtis Novak in the bridge position. Lots of wear and patina on the neck, light wear on the body. A tortoiseshell 4 ply pickguard is loaded with the full vintage in-and-out of phase switches, all wiring is vintage cloth. The bridge is an upgraded AVRI type with Mustang saddles. The neck plate, string trees and 70s style vintage button tuners are original to the neck, dating to Fullerton, 1975. Weighs 7lbs and 8oz, setup on 10s. Comes in an aftermarket hard case with tremolo arm.

Condition

Overall, very good condition. Not new, not pristine. A nice collection of old, new and vintage parts that show wear and age. The poly finish on the Mustang body shows very light wear around the controls and bridge on an older refinish, one or two small flaws and dings. The neck shows plenty of wear and patina.
