2020 Fender Signature Jimmy Page Dragon Telecaster – Ash

When the opening riff of “Good Times Bad Times” came through the radio in 1969, everything changed. In that moment Jimmy Page cemented his legacy and altered the course of popular music with a single guitar: his Fender Telecaster. The Fender Jimmy Page Telecaster is an homage to that guitar, which began life in its factory White Blonde lacquer finish, then became the “mirror guitar” before taking on its final form – a magical one-of-a-kind instrument, hand-painted by Page himself, that would go on to produce some of the most iconic riffs of the 20th Century.

This guitar is really quite interesting with some nice specs. The pickups are a custom voiced Jimmy Page set, though the body is poly-urethane over ash, the neck is road-worn nitro lacquer and feels great. A nice top-loaded bridge is part of the package, although the body is routed also for a string through setup too. If adding a Bigsby is the plan, this is the bridge you’d need to buy, bone nut, vintage style tuners, maple neck with 21 vintage style frets. Weighs 8lb and 14oz, setup on 10s, comes in the original Fender hardshell case.

Condition is 9/10 for lacquer aging (gracefully), one or two small flaws. Not pristine, just excellent.

Excellent condition, stock, one or two small flaws in the finish, looks great, aging gracefully. There’s a chip in the nitro finish on the neck from a guitar hanger, that’s besides the standard checking you get on these aged lacquer satin finish.
