2007 Gibson Les Paul Robot – Blue Burst

First Edition Limited Robot Les Paul from 2007 tastefully modified and aging gracefully. This one had the robot system removed at some point, the original automated tuner system was replaced with a nice set of chrome Hipshot locking open gear tuners. The guitar was originally setup with a piezo bridge and tailpiece. The original piezo tailpiece remains, the bridge was swapped to a chrome Gibson Nashville one. Wiring is vintage 50s style with orange caps, cloth wiring – visible under the clear cavity covers. Comes in the original hardcase, original piezo bridge included. 490/498 pickup set. Setup on 10s, weighs an excellent 7lb and 13oz; lightweight by Les Paul standards.

Condition is 8/10 for minor play wear, modification. Aging gracefully. Plastics, truss rod cover, and pickups are original, the wiring and tuners are modified.

Condition

Not new or pristine, shows light checking, lacquer sink, small chip on the front under the neck pickup ring on the bass side. Finish shows swirls and light impressions, pickguard has light playwear. Excellent frets, fretboard and binding. Presents as excellent.
