2005 Gibson Les Paul Classic ’60s – Light Burst

Beautiful Gibson Les Paul Classic in glorious Light Burst, this one is a ’60s with a slim taper neck and cherry nitro on the mahogany neck and back. Kluson deluxe tuners, original plastics. Comes in the original Canadian hard case with satin shroud. Rewired with vintage style cloth wrapped lead and orange drop capacitors. Pickups are Gibson 490R/T with output of around 8k. Weighs a very manageable 8lb and 12oz and setup on 10s. The mark inside the pickup rout is LB, presumably for ‘Light Burst’ but there’s another in the bridge rout that looks like LPCS, which may explain the warm cherry colors in the 2-piece top.

Condition is 8/10 for minor play wear, modification. Aging gracefully.

Condition

Not new or pristine, shows light checking, lacquer sink, light impressions, swirls, light buckle-rash, small flaws. Presents as very good or excellent, beautiful player grade instrument with light playwear, no repairs or damage. Not new, not pristine, looks fantastic. See the pictures, ask for more.
