2002-04 Fender CIJ Pink Paisley Stratocaster
This 2002-04 Fender Japan special edition Pink Paisley Stratocaster is in almost new condition. There are some light swirls in the finish, but no dings, knocks or chips. It is as good as it gets for one of these extremely rare instruments. Four bolt neck, maple fingerboard, vintage tuners, weighs 8lbs and 2oz, very easy to sit or stand and play. The original backplate is missing, it’s been replaced with a nicely aged vintage one from another Japanese Fender. Q serial Crafted in Japan dates in to somewhere between 2002 and 2004.
The condition is an easy 9.5/10
Condition
The guitar is like new with virtually no wear of any kind, including playwear. The tuners and hardware has developed a slight patina that suits the vibe of the instrument. It probably spent a good portion of its first life in Japan. Comes in a Fender TSA hard case. This one is for the few.
