1978 Fender USA American Precision Bass – Aged Gold Thinline Custom
Amazing custom instrument built around a now vintage 2000 Fender USA nitro Precision-Bass neck and a custom 2-piece thinline mahogany body in aged Gold nitro. A gold-foil Curtis Novak H22P-Bass pickup is wired to a vintage style 1 vol and 1 tone crcuit with a telecaster style output jack on the lower side/bout of the instrument. Comes in a Fender Bass hard case and is currently setup on 0.45-1.05 flat-wounds. Weighs an incredible 7lb 8oz. Heavy checking on front and back of the 2-piece custom mahogany body.
The condition is an easy 8/10, presents as excellent, marriage of old and new parts. For the few.
